'F Troop' and 'The Great Race' Actor Larry Storch Dead at 99: 'He Loved Each and Every One of You'
Veteran comic Larry Storch has died at the age of 99.
Storch's loved ones confirmed the F Troop actor died via a Facebook post on Friday morning.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you the news our beloved Larry passed away in his sleep overnight," a post on his official page read. "We are shocked and at a loss for words at the moment."
The poster added a message to friends and fans. "Please remember he loved each and every one of you and wouldn't want you to cry over his passing. He is reunited with his wife Norma and his beloved F Troop cast and so many friends and family."
An official cause of death was not immediately revealed.

In an additional comment, the poster added, "We are grateful Larry made it to his half birthday."
Storch appeared in more than 200 film and television projects during his acting career. His first film The Prince Who Was a Thief was released in 1951. Storch's final appeared was in an episode of the 2010 TV series Medium Rare as Willie.
Some of his best-known roles include Texas Jack in 1965 film The Great Race, Glenn Purcell in 1974 film Airport 1975 and Scoutmaster in 1980 release Without Warning. He was widely beloved for playing Corporal Randolph Agarn in sitcom F Troop, which aired on ABC from 1965 to 1967.

Storch was born in New York City, a son of Alfred Storch, a Realtor, and his wife Sally (Kupperman) Storch, a telephone operator. He attended DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx with Don Adams, who remained his lifelong friend. Storch never graduated from high school because of hard times in the Great Depression, instead finding work as a stand-up comic for twelve dollars a week opening for bandleader Al Donahue at the band shell in Sheepshead Bay. He served in the United States Navy during World War II on the submarine tender USS Proteus with Tony Curtis.

Storch was originally a stand-up comic. This led to guest appearances in dozens of television shows including Hennesey, Get Smart, Sergeant Bilko, Columbo, CHiPs, Fantasy Island, McCloud, Emergency!, The Flying Nun, Alias Smith and Jones, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, That Girl, I Dream of Jeannie, Gomer Pyle, Gilligan's Island, The Doris Day Show, The Persuaders and All in the Family. His most famous role was the scheming Corporal Agarn in the TV series F-Troop (1965–67), with Forrest Tucker and Ken Berry. In 1975, Storch co-starred with Bob Burns (who was disguised as a gorilla) and Forrest Tucker in the popular Saturday morning show The Ghost Busters. He also appeared in The Love Boat, was Al Bundy's childhood hero in Married... with Children, and was a semi-regular in Car 54, Where Are You? He co-starred in the short-lived series The Queen and I.
